Eating out can be one of the hardest things to navigate while you are watching your weight. You can feel tempted by everything on the menu. Do you end up going for the french fries instead of salad or fried fish instead of baked? If so, you are not the only one.
Over the years, I have eased my frustration by choosing not going out at all. It would diminish my stress about choosing the “right” option but would sadly not allow me to spend time with friends. Don’t be like me! Don’t miss out on opportunities to visit with great people just because you are worried about what to eat.
Below I have created a list of good and bad words to look for when reading a menu. If you remember these the next time you go to a restaurant, you will be able to make smarter choices and significantly cut down on the calories you consume.
