Eating gluten free can seem pretty daunting when you are first diagnosed with Celiac disease or have an intolerance to gluten. Heaven forbid trying to cook gluten free! Believe me, 5 years ago I was in the same boat. I hated going to the store and leaving without some of my favorite foods. Learning what I could and couldn’t eat was intimidating and seemed like I would never again enjoy the things I loved to eat. Luckily, now a days there are so many different gluten free products on the market it is super easy to create meals you once cherished and took for granted.
Glutino creates some of my favorite gluten free products. They have gluten free baking mixes, crackers, breads and more! I often use their crackers for dipping in hummus and their breadcrumbs to create a fake fried chicken. But, I have to say their new “Buffalo Style” and “Salted Caramel Covered” pretzels are to die for! They are my new favorite flavors…not necessarily full of nutrients, but what pretzels are? When I have a craving for something a little sweet (or salty) I turn to these. Remember moderation is the key!
“Don’t put a ban on your favorite foods.
Enjoy the food you love in moderation, getting fit isn’t a punishment.”
Breakfast is one of my favorite meals to cook. I especially love to eat breakfast for dinner. I’m not much of a sweet breakfast kind of girl. I would much rather eat scrambled eggs & grits more than pancakes & cereal. This is why I have created the following three savory recipes. With the help of my good friends at Glutino, these recipes are the perfect breakfast or brunch option for your next family meal.
