These no-bake Chocolate Coconut Bliss Bars are simple, sweet, and loaded with layers of coconut flavor.
I have a love of coconut and these bars are one of the best coconut treats I've made. Full of unsweetened coconut flakes, sweetened shredded coconut and coconut oil....it definitely isn't lacking in coconut flavor.
The easy preparation makes them perfect for whipping up as a simple weeknight dessert.
What ingredients do I need for Chocolate Coconut Bliss Bars?
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
- ¼ cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup coconut oil - melted
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
How do I make these no-bake Chocolate Coconut Bliss Bars?
The bars take about an hour to make, but most of that is waiting for the bars to set in the freezer. The hands on time for making these bars is MUCH shorter.
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the coconut flakes, shredded coconut, coconut oil and honey. Stir well.
Step 2: Press the mixture into a prepared pan/ baking dish. Place in freezer for about 10 minutes.
Step 3: Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave.
Step 4: Pour the melted chocolate over the coconut layer and spread evenly. Top with additional shredded coconut, if desired. Return back to the freezer for another 20-30 minutes.
Step 5: Remove and slice into bars. Store in either the refrigerator or freezer for the future.
