I absolutely love onion rings! However, the thought of eating deep-fried foods would often steer me away from ordering them.
Luckily, these Crispy Baked Onion Rings are definitely delicious and crispy, without being covered in oil. They are great dipped in all types of sauces.
Making your own homemade onion rings are the best!

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
Who's in the mood for some crunchy, crispy onion rings? These always make a fantastic side dish, appetizer, or even snack when your not in the mood for something sweet.
- 1 large white or yellow onion
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¾ cup gluten free bread crumbs
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- dash of salt/pepper

HOW DO I MAKE CRISPY BAKED ONION RINGS?
Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F. Slice 1 large white or yellow onion into rings.
In a small bowl, whisk together 2 eggs and ¼ cup of olive oil. In a separate bowl, combine ¾ cup of gluten free bread crumbs (or Panko), 2 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, salt & pepper.
Take the onion rings, drop them into the wet mixture, then coat them with the dry mixture. Once the pieces are covered in the bread crumbs place them on a prepared baking sheet. Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes. If you want them to be extra crispy, broil at the end for 1 minute.
