These Cheesy Chicken & Spinach Crescent Rolls are the perfect dinner for a busy weeknight or lunch for your little ones! Golden-brown and flaky every single time. Your kids will actually be excited to open their lunchbox.
Nothing special here, no baking from scratch or slaving in the kitchen, just a few simple ingredients and a sheet pan will do!
These Cheesy Chicken & Spinach Crescent Rolls are so simple to make and one of my family's favorite recipes. If you have leftover grilled chicken, a store-bought rotisserie chicken, or canned chicken, this recipe is a great way to use it up. I am all about stretching a small amount of food to feed a family.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 1 can crescent rolls - 8 rolls
- 12 oz canned chicken
- 1 cup roughly chopped spinach
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- dash of salt
HOW DO I MAKE CHEESY CHICKEN & SPINACH CRESCENT ROLLS?
STEP 1: Start by chopping 1 cup of spinach. Next, open and drain a 12 oz can of chicken breast chunks.
STEP 2: In a large bowl, combine spinach, chicken, mozzarella cheese and dry seasonings. Stir well so all the ingredients are evenly mixed.
STEP 3: Spoon a small amount of the mixture into your crescent roll dough and roll it up. There should be enough filling for 8 crescent rolls.
STEP 4: Bake them at 375 degrees F. for approximately 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove and let cool slightly, before serving.
