WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 2-3 large chicken breast
- 16 oz pineapple chunks- fresh
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
- ½ cup Teriyaki sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- dash of salt & pepper

HOW DO I MAKE BBQ PINEAPPLE CHICKEN SKEWERS?
If you plan on using wooden skewers, start by soaking them in water.
Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces, similar to the same size as the pineapple. If your pineapple chunks are a little too large, feel free to cut those into smaller pieces, as well.
Season the chicken and pineapple with salt & pepper. Then thread them onto your skewers.

In a bowl, whisk together the bbq sauce, teriyaki sauce, garlic and ginger. Set aside for now.
Place the skewers on your grill and cook, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
Just before removing the skewers from the grill, brush the teriyaki bbq sauce all over them. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Reserve any remaining sauce for serving with your meal.

Once you have remove the skewers from your grill, you can either serve them as is, or remove the chicken and pineapple from the skewers and serve in a large bowl. Either way, this easy recipe is going to be your new favorite for grilling season!
