WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 1 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon preferred hot sauce or sriracha sauce

HOW DO I MAKE EASY HOMEMADE HOT HONEY?
In a sauce pan, begin to heat the honey over medium heat. Stir in the chili flakes and hot sauce. Continue to simmer for 5 minutes, continuously stirring, do not bring to a boil.
Turn off the heat and let it cool. Once the honey has cooled, carefully transfer to a glass container.
Note, the honey will continue get spicier as the chili flakes soak in the honey. If you taste the honey and do not want it to get hotter, you can strain the chili flakes out of the honey. But, be sure to do that while the honey is still hot and runny.
