Light and refreshing, this Mixed Berry Sorbet is sure to be your new favorite summer treat!

Ok, confession time....I love ice cream. There is no flavor I don't like. I consider myself an equal opportunist for all flavors of ice cream. It doesn't matter if it's hot or cold outside, I can still enjoy ice cream.
Keeping my love for ice cream in check is another thing. Having a healthy relationship with sweets is one of the most important things to keep in mind when living a balanced life. Staying fit by working out is only one component of a healthy lifestyle. It doesn't matter how hard you may work out if you eat like crap the rest of the day.
My light homemade version of a sorbet is the perfect way to enjoy a cool refreshing dessert, but without all the added calories and processed ingredients.
HOW DO I MAKE MIXED BERRY SORBET?
This recipe can't get any easier! In a food processor you will combine one 16oz bag of frozen mixed berries, 4 tablespoon of honey, ½ cup of plain Greek yogurt (I used 0% Fage Greek Yogurt), and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix the ingredients until you have a smooth consistency, about 1-2 minutes.
Easy as that, you have light, refreshing dessert. You can serve the sorbet immediately or place in an air tight container in your freezer for future use.
Now this is my kind of treat! 4 simple ingredients and ready in less than 5 minutes. Are you kidding me? How can you not fall in love with this dessert?
