“Tea is to the body as music is to the soul.” –Earlene Grey
After a long day, you can usually find me enjoying a warm cup of tea as I cozy up with a good book, without a care in the world. HAHAHA!!....scratch that! Who am I kidding?! After a long day, I am usually still fighting to put the kids to sleep, still in my sweaty workout clothes, and most likely with baby food in my hair.
But, one thing for sure, whatever the situation, I always make sure to have a cup of tea. It helps me calm down and relax, no matter how crazy my surrounding are.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF TEA:
Herbal teas, are produced from any number of herbs and/or combination of herbs. Unlike “real tea” which is only brewed from leaves.
Real tea is technically made from the leaves of a single plant, the tea bush/shrub Camellia sinensis. Green tea, black tea, white tea and oolong tea are all considered to be real teas. Each type is made using different processing before drying of the leaves.
WHAT BENEFITS ARE IN TEA?
Ever wonder what benefits your favorite tea holds? Below I have a breakdown of many popular herbal teas and their health benefits. (I've included some non-herbal teas, as well.)
Now you can pick the right tea for the right mood or situation. Lord knows, every day brings something new.
