I love grilled vegetables!  If you follow The Healthy Home Cook, this isn't news to you.  I've made Grilled Vegetable Risotto, Grilled Sesame Bok Choy, Grilled Romaine and a Grilled Asparagus Wrap.  You can just call me a grilled vegetable freak.  It's ok...I've accepted it.  Now it's time for you to experience how delicious grilled veggies can be, too!

These Grilled Brussels Sprouts are the perfect side dish or appetizer for your next party.  Marinated in 4 simple ingredients and grilled to perfection, your guests will be amazed at your culinary skills.

Prepare the brussels sprouts by cutting off the tough stems.  Then, place them in a bowl or plastic bag. (I used approximately 12 large brussels sprouts for this recipe).

Add the following ingredients and let everything marinate for at least an hour or more:

    • 2 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
    • ½ teaspoon pepper

When you are ready to grill, set your grill to a medium heat.  I like to use a grilling tray so I don't have to worry about loosing one or two sprouts between the grates.

Cook the brussels sprouts for approximately 20 minutes, turning often. When you have nice grill marks and slightly tender sprouts, carefully remove them from the heat and let cool.

Grilling gives these simple vegetables the perfect amount of flavor.  It's an easy recipe you will never forget!
