WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 2 ½ cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup butter - softened
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

To begin, stir together the milk and cornstarch.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and cornstarch mixture until well combined.

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined. Then fold in the chocolate chips.
Cover and chill the dough for 1 hour.

When you are ready to bake, preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Then scoop the cookie dough into small balls, a couple inches apart.

Bake for approximately 14 minutes, or until slightly golden. Carefully remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
