WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 3 ½ cups flour (bread or all-purpose)
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoon butter - melted
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
HOW DO I MAKE HOMEMADE DINNER ROLLS?
In a microwave safe bowl (or cup large enough) combine the milk, water and melted butter. Microwave for 60 seconds.
Stir in the dry yeast and let sit for 5 minutes, or until foamy.
In a separate large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast water and mix until combined and no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl. *If the dough is still sticky add an additional tablespoon or two of flour until it doesn't stick and you can form into a ball. Cover the bowl and let rise for 15 minutes.
While the dough is rising, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. and spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Divide the dough into approximately 12-15 balls. Place the dough balls into your pan. Cover and let rise for an additional 15 minutes.
Bake (uncovered) for 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with additional melted butter, if desired.
