A heavenly dessert that is soft, slightly chewy and now made without flour or refined sugar. I'm pretty sure I've hit the jackpot of desserts with this one!

When my husband is traveling for work, I like to test out as many recipes as I can. I don't want to end up torturing him with all these new recipe ideas while he is home. But I know when he sees this recipe he is going to be mad he missed it.
If I had to choose between the two of us, my husband would definitely be the dessert lover. So I'm sure these blondies would have won some points in his book.

My recipe for Flourless Blondies is a great option to have for anyone with a gluten allergy or someone who doesn't like chocolate. (I know that may seem crazy, but there are people that don't like chocolate.)
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 1 16oz can chick peas
- ⅓ cup natural maple syrup
- ⅓ cup natural crunchy peanut butter
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
Did I mention this recipe is flourless and refined sugar free? I did? Ok, Just wanted to make sure...I didn't want anyone to miss out on that part.

HOW DO I MAKE FLOURLESS BLONDIES?
To create them, open and drain 1 16 oz. can of chick peas. Place the chick peas into a food processor and pulse until you have a smooth consistency. Next, add the following ingredients and pulse a few more times.
- ⅓ cup natural maple syrup
- ⅓ cup natural peanut butter
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- ½ teaspoon salt

Once the ingredients are mixed well, pour the batter into a prepared baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 30-35 minutes. Carefully remove the pan from your oven and let cool.

Move over brownies, these Flourless Blondies are the new treat in town.
