These Homemade Gluten Free Ranch Crackers are my newest creation and I'm in love. If you are a cracker freak (like I am) you will be making a batch of these every week. RUN, don't walk, to the store for the ingredients. Trust me on this.

Ok, I have an addiction to crackers. I love trying new flavors, brands (gluten free, of course), organic, non-organic. I can't get enough. If you ask my husband, I probably spend way too much money on box after box of crackers. So what's a girl to do when she needs to cut back her spending on crackers? Make her own darn crackers at home!
These Homemade Gluten Free Ranch Crackers are perfect with hummus and dips, but also pair well a good ol' glass of wine and nothing else. Talk about a great addition to your recipe lineup for entertaining (or snacking alone). You won't believe how easy it is to make them!
Another reason why I am obsessed with these crackers is that I get to have all the control as to what goes into them. If you are a little O.C.D. (once again, like me), this is a wonderful recipe to keep. I love being able to see what goes into my food and keep out what I don't want. For any parents out there who have children with food allergies, this is another awesome way to keep an eye on what they are consuming.
HOW DO I MAKE GLUTEN FREE RANCH CRACKERS?
In a small bowl, whisk together ½ teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil until you have a creamy consistency. Set this spread aside for now.
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of gluten free flour, ½ teaspoon of sea salt and 1 teaspoon of ranch flavored powder. Slowly pour in ⅓ cup of water to the flour mixture. (I add a little at a time, while mixing the dough with my hands.) Once you have added all the water, add in the honey/oil spread, and continue mixing.
When you are finished, form the dough into a ball and place it between two sheets of parchment paper. Begin to roll it out, trying to get the dough as thin as possible without tearing. Once you are finished rolling, remove the top parchment paper sheet, keeping the dough on the bottom sheet and place it onto a baking sheet.
Drizzle the top of the dough with 1-2 teaspoon of olive oil and a dash of additional sea salt and ranch powder. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes.
One bite of these crunchy Gluten Free Ranch Crackers and you will know why it's totally worth it to make them at home.
