The viral bakery-style cake, but homemade, fluffy, gluten free and loaded with chocolate protein. Save this for your next sweet craving!

If you’ve been on social media lately, I'm sure your feed has been overflowing with colorful little “Dot Cakes.” Dot cakes are mini cake cups topped with a layer of nonpareils that come in many different flavors like classic white, chocolate, red velvet, and chocolate chip.
These adorable cakes have quickly become one of the internet’s favorite easy dessert trends. There’s tons of homemade recipes going around.
Clearly, I had to jump in and try them out because they’re so cute and colorful! But of course, mine are gluten free with an extra dose of protein.

These Chocolate Protein Dot Cakes are the ultimate high-protein snack or dessert, packed with nutrients and a deliciously creamy texture. It's guilt free and super easy to make.
With layers of flourless chocolate brownie and a creamy, chocolate Greek yogurt, you can now enjoy desserts while giving your body the protein it needs!

For the chocolate protein brownie layers, I used my Flourless Brownie recipe with an added scoop of Naked Nutrition Beef Protein.
For the Creamy Chocolate Greek yogurt layers, I also added ¼ cup of Naked Nutrition Beef Protein Powder to bump up the protein throughout the entire recipe.
Naked Beef Protein delivers 21 grams of protein and 17 grams of collagen per scoop. It's lactose-free, which for me, means no bloating and no digestive discomfort.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
Flourless Protein Brownies:
- 1 15oz can Chickpeas
- 3 Eggs
- ⅓ cup Maple Syrup
- ⅓ cup unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 scoop Naked Chocolate Beef Protein Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 3 tablespoon Coconut Oil (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
Creamy Chocolate Greek Yogurt:
- 6 oz vanilla Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup Naked Chocolate Beef Protein Powder
- 2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoon sugar (or sweetener of choice)
Plus, desired amount of nonpareils for the topping.

HOW DO I MAKE CHOCOLATE PROTEIN DOT CAKES?
Start by baking a batch of my Flourless Brownies: Drain and Rinse 1 15oz can chickpeas. In a food processor, combine all the brownie ingredients, blend well until you have a smooth batter.
Pour batter into prepared 9x9 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 23-25 minutes. Once the brownies are finished baking, remove and let cool completely before slicing.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla Greek yogurt, Chocolate Protein Powder, unsweetened cocoa powder and sugar until smooth and creamy.

When you are ready to create the dot cakes, grab 2-3 small bowls or glass jars. Cut the protein brownies in small circles that you can fit into each jar. Create two layers of each, the brownie and creamy Greek yogurt, then top with nonpareils.
