Curb your mid-day cravings for candy with these Super Seed Bars. Loaded with seeds, seeds and more seeds, these bars are a tasty alternative to the same old granola bar and a great option for anyone with a nut allergy.

I am all about enjoying an afternoon pick me up. Whether that is sitting down with a cup of coffee, a handful of nuts, or a protein bar, I love being able to take a moment and breathe.
While it might not be everyday that I get to enjoy a "peaceful" afternoon break, I still get to enjoy these Super Seed Bars. You have to take what you can get, I guess.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- ¾ cup cooked quinoa
- ½ cup raw pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup raw sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- ¼ cup flax meal
- ¼ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- juice & zest of one clementine

HOW DO I MAKE SUPER SEED BARS?
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl combine the following ingredients and stir:
- ¾ cup cooked quinoa
- ½ cup raw pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup raw sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- ¼ cup flax meal
- ¼ cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- juice & zest of one clementine (feel free to use ½ of a small orange if you have one on hand.)
Once the ingredients are mixed, pour everything into a 9x9 baking dish, lined with parchment paper, and press down firmly. Bake the bars for approximately 25-30 minutes.
After baking, carefully remove the bars from the oven and let cool. Place them in your refrigerator for another hour or so. This will continue to firm up the bars. When you are ready, slice the bars as desired and place in airtight container. You can store them in your refrigerator or freezer.
These Super Seed Bars are easy, healthy and a sure snack everyone will enjoy.
