To create my Slow Cooker {Vegan} Sloppy Joe recipe, start by combining the following ingredients in a mixing bowl:
- 1 15 oz can of tomato sauce
- ½ tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 3 tablespoon ketchup
- 2 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Next, place the following ingredients into your Crock-Pot® Cook & Carry™ Slow Cooker :
- 1 lbs (un-cooked) green lentils
- 1 qt vegetable stock
- ½ red onion- chopped
- 1 red bell pepper- chopped
- 1 cup cauliflower- chopped

Add the sauce mixture to the Crock-Pot® Cook & Carry™ Slow Cooker and set to high for approximately 6 hours, or until the lentils have become tender and most of the sauce is absorbed.
Spoon desired amount of sloppy joe mix onto a burger bun and top with slaw, if desired.

- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- Burger buns of your choice
- Slaw mix (if desired)
Instructions
- Combine the following in a mixing bowl: 1 15 oz can of tomato sauce, ½ tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoon maple syrup, 3 tablespoon ketchup, 2 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
