Protein powder has met it's new best friend in this recipe for Oatmeal Raisin Protein Bites!

You can never have too many varieties of protein bites (at least that's what I keep telling myself). This version of a pumped-up oatmeal raisin cookie is my new perfectly portioned sweet bite that's sure to please.
This recipe a nice break from the usual chocolate versions out there. Don't get me wrong...I love myself some chocolate protein snacks. However, the use of vanilla powder is a delicious swap that makes these bites one for the books.

- 4 tablespoon honey

HOW DO I MAKE OATMEAL RAISIN PROTEIN BITES?
In a food processor, pulse 1 cup of oats with 1 cup of cashews (raw or roasted) until you have a crumbly texture. Be sure not to over blend the ingredients and create a paste.
In a large bowl, combine oat mixture with remaining ingredients:
4 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoon vanilla almond milk
⅓ cup raisins
½ cup vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground cloves
pinch of salt
Make sure ingredients are well integrated.
Using your hands, roll the dough into small balls and place them in your refrigerator to set. (At least 30 minutes). You can then store them in an airtight container in your refrigerator or freezer.
