Just one bowl, 5 minutes, and a few simple ingredients and you have prepared the BEST Peppermint Protein Freezer Fudge in the world!

"Peppermint" and "fudge"...two of my favorite words! Now, add "protein" and "freezer" to the mix and you have yourself a deliciously, healthier option for a holiday treat. This recipe for Peppermint Protein Freezer Fudge will have you questioning why you even think about making the traditional version with butter, sugar and milk.
Utilizing your freezer is the simplest way to make yummy treats for the holidays. I recently remembered that a few years ago I made a recipe for Freezer Maple Almond Fudge and totally forgot how easy it was to make. This year, I decided to go with a protein packed chocolatey version.
It's hard to decide which is my favorite at this point....you will just have to make both recipes to decide for yourself.

HOW DO I MAKE PEPPERMINT PROTEIN FREEZER FUDGE?
In a microwave safe bowl, combine ⅓ cup coconut oil with ½ cup natural peanut butter (smooth). Heat the ingredients for approximately 20 seconds and stir until you have a smooth consistency.
Add the following ingredients and stir:
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoon honey
- ¼ cup chocolate protein powder
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- dash of salt
Pour the fudge mixture into a small dish of your choice, lined with parchment paper. Place the dish in your freezer for a few hours. Once the fudge has hardened, you can slice it and store in an airtight container back in your freezer.

I've made something relatively similar to this and it's addictively delicious!!! I didn't use any nut butter though because I cannot eat it, but man I wish I could cause I know it would make it even creamier - 🙂
