This Crispy Buttery Baked Cod is my all-time favorite fish recipe. It’s quick and easy (ready in less than 30 minutes!), and the result is tender, flaky, flavorful fish every time!
Generously topped with a buttery cracker combination, you will be hard pressed to find another fish recipe as easy and flavorful as this one!
What ingredients do I need?
- Cod fillets
- Butter crackers (Ritz, Club, or preferred)
- Parmesan cheese
- Melted butter
- Lemon juice
- Salt/Pepper
- Fresh parsley

How do I make Crispy Buttery Baked Cod?
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Crumble the crackers and place in a mixing bowl, along with melted butter, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and a dash of salt & pepper.
Set 3: Pat the cod dry, place on a baking sheet. Top the fish with cracker mixture. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until fish is fully cooked and the cracker crumble is golden brown.
Step 4: Remove from oven and top with fresh parsley if desired.

Ingredients
- 3 cod fillets
- 1 sleeve preferred butter crackers
- ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt/Pepper
- Optional: fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Crumble the crackers and place in a mixing bowl, along with melted butter, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and a dash of salt & pepper.
- Pat the cod dry, place on a baking sheet.
- Top the fish with cracker mixture.
