This creamy Peanut Butter Pumpkin Smoothie is healthy, delicious and loaded with all your fall favorites .
This year, I have been on top of all things pumpkin. Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Protein Bars, Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte, Savory Pumpkin Avocado Toast and now this Peanut Butter Pumpkin Smoothie! I should buy stock in Libby's, based on all the canned pumpkin I have bought.
I know the fall season usually calls for warm, fuzzy recipes. However, this Peanut Butter Pumpkin Smoothie is cool, creamy and full of flavor.
It's easy to make, packed with flavor, and perfect as breakfast, mid-day snack, or dessert. PS- my kids loved it too.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
I do my best to create recipes using simple, wholesome ingredients. Only 5 ingredients are needed for this deliciously thick & creamy smoothie!
- almond milk (or preferred)
- pumpkin puree
- natural peanut butter
- cinnamon
- banana
- optional: ice

As I've said in my previous smoothie/shake recipes, I usually use a Bullet Mixer, since I’m making enough for one. But if my kids want in on the action, I will use a larger blender like this Ninja Blender. Both are great options. Use whatever you have!

HOW DO I MAKE A PEANUT BUTTER PUMPKIN SMOOTHIE?
You really can't mess this up...
Start by adding all the ingredients (minus the ice) to your blender. Mix until you have a smooth, creamy consistency. Then add in ice, depending on how thick you like your smoothies.
Feel free to add a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder for a little extra boost of protein. (Right now, I'm going between Orgain - vanilla bean and Earth Chimp - plain & unsweetened powders. Both are great options).
