These Cinnamon Oat & Nut Clusters are perfectly sweetened and so easy to make!
My love for making homemade granola goes back many, many years. However, this is the first time I have made oat & nut "clusters".
Why make clusters? Well, granola on its own usually needs to be served with yogurt, milk or something similar. Granola clusters, on the other hand, can be eaten as is. They’re the perfect grab-n-go, snack!
My homemade recipe yields super chunky clusters that are sweet, crispy and perfectly spiced!
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- old fashioned oats
- walnuts
- pecans
- sunflower seeds
- egg whites
- vanilla
- sugar
- cinnamon
- salt
**Detailed measurements and instructions are in the recipe card below**
HOW DO I MAKE CINNAMON OAT & NUT CLUSTERS?
STEP 1: In a small bowl, whisk together egg whites until frothy.
STEP 2: In a separate bowl, combine oats and nuts. Add egg whites, cinnamon, sugar and salt. Mix well.
STEP 3: Pour mixture onto a large baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees F. for approximately 25 minutes. Stirring halfway through the cooking process.
STEP 4: Remove from oven and let cool completely. The clusters will become more crunchy as they cool.
Every bite of these Cinnamon Oat & Nut Clusters tastes warm and sweet. You will be making these over and over again, I promise!
