WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED:
- approximately 16 wonton wrappers
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
- 2 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- desired amount of sesame seeds
- Asian chopped salad kit
- sweet chili sauce
HOW DO I MAKE TURKEY WONTON TACOS?
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Slice the wontons in half, then lay them over the edge of a 9x13 baking pan (or any pan with a tall edge for that matter). Spray them with preferred oil spray and bake for 7 minutes. Once they are golden brown, remove from oven and let cool.
In a large skillet begin to brown your ground turkey. Once crumbled, stir in soy sauce, hoisin and desired amount of sesame seeds (I used about 1 Tbsp). Continue to sauté for another few minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and evenly coated with the sauce. Remove the skillet from heat and let cool slightly.
In a separate bowl, mix together your bagged Asian salad.
To prepare the tacos, take your crispy wonton shells and fill them with a spoonful of seasoned turkey, then top with Asian salad mix. Drizzle with sweet chili sauce, if desired.
